Late Night Extra 17th of February

My first show from the new studios at the Brentwood Centre! It felt a bit odd to begin with, but I soon settled in. Our classic TV theme proved more tricky than normal tonight. In the end Susan, Phyl and Ed all came up with Twin Peaks. I never watched it myself, too odd. We also had the Desert Island Discs from Susan and Ken in Oxford, Susan in Reading and Marjory in Ingatestone. We also had a request from regular listener Michael. The music mix was as wide as ever. Artists featured included Van Morrison and the Chieftans, Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Coldplay, The Zombies, Diana Krall, Frank Sinatra, Dusty Springfield, Lady Antebellum and many more.

Don’t forget you can leave a request for next week on this page. Also, if anyone wants to continue the Desert Island Discs feature, just leave the one tune you could not do without, the book or film and a luxury. So far our most popular luxury is an endless supply of chocolate!

Next week we have a guest, Roy Quiddington, who is Direcor of Finance and Resourses for The Stoke Association. He will be talking about how to minimise the possibility of ever having a stroke, how to help someone who has had a stoke and the work of the Stroke Association. If you have any question you would particulalrly like to ask him, please leave that here also.

See you next week.
