Tonight I was joined in the studio by Richard and Terry, who read a number of our festive news stories, including a mystery shopper in Tiverton who gave out envelopes each containing a £50 note to shoppers and a driver in Houston Texas who paid back a $1 parking fine after 58 years! The competition was the theme of Deep Space 9 and was won by both Caroline and Phyl. Julian in Ireland tried but just could not get it. Requests were played for Phyl, Ed, Michael and Ken and Susan. We had Christmas items from Marvin Gaye, Annie Lennox, Pat Boone, Band Aid and Wham. We also featured artists who departed from us during the year, including Andrew Gold, Gerry Rafferty and Amy Winehouse. So it was a packed two hours!
