Late Night Extra 16th of December

I had a great time tonight, hope you did listening! I was joined by Ian from IDC Greenscapes who enjoyed himself so much he stayed for the whole show. He talked about the award winning planting scheme in the public beds in Ingatestone, the national awards ceremony and his contuing study at Writtle College. He also read some of our unusual news items. We were joined by e-mail by the Edwards Family in Kentucky where Sue won the TV theme competition, recognising Mission Impossible. A track was played for Sue’s Mom Wilma Sadler who was celebrating her 96th birthday. It was the first time she had ever had a request played on the radio.
Music tonight inluded classic tracks from the Walker Brothers, the Beatles, Eva Cassidy & the Beach Boys. Seasonal offerings came from Elvis Presley, Dave Koz, James Taylor and Peter White. Contempory tracks from show favouites Lady Antebellum, Coldplay, Caro Emerald and Adele. Join me next week for a Christmas special. Why not leave a request at the bottom of the page? I am happy to oblige.
