Music Crowns Festival Interviews

On Today’s In The Mix I played out all the interviews I had at The Music Crowns Festival last Saturday.
Music Crowns is an online music competition with three winners in the categories Pop, Rock and Urban. For the first time ever a two day Festival was organized which gave the bands taking part in the competition, a new platform to perform on.

There were a few celebrities headlining the event such as Stacey Solomon, Fugative, Egypt, Missing Andy, Skepta, The Milk, The Rifles, Mutya Buena and Toploader.
I went along on the Saturday and managed to get a few pictures and interviews which can be seen below…

Me with Dan and Steve, from Essex Entertainment, who compared the event.

Duo Dan and Steve from Essex Entertainment had the very important role of introducing the acts, so I had a talk with them about who had been their favourites.

Victor from Big Brother was there too, with friend and presenter  Johny Pach. We talked about his time in the Big Brother house and of course the up coming new series.

Even though the celeb’s did all the headlining, the main reason for the event was the artists taking part in the competition A rapper called Clapz was in the Urban category and he talked  about why he entered the Music Crowns.

Riot Tweets
Everyone must of heard about or seen on the news the riots and violence that have been taking place in London and other UK cites, during this week. Many celebrities have taken to Twitter to voice their opinions on the matter

Lily Allen: “Are we on the brink of civil war or something ?”
She added: “Bring back the cane ??????”

Leona Lewis: “I presume alot of people rioting are from the area and all your doing is hurting yourself and your own community.”

Jessie J: “This is NOT how to gain respect. This is NOT how to get justice. This is NOT how to gain peace.”

Simon Pegg: “Come on London we are better than this. This is so awful.”

He added: “I’ve lived in London for 18 years and never seen anything like it. Truly disturbing.”

Kelly Osbourne: “with the greatest of respect the police are not educated enough 2 deal with this kind of destruction so why dont they bring in the army.”

She added: “just to make myself clear i DON’T MEAN THE POLICE ARE STUPID just that they have no been taught to deal with things on this level!”

Jamie Oliver: “so sad to see whats happening in UK with these Riots!all gone mad !time to get our country back now we need 2 come down hard on these idiots.”

Cheryl Cole In Film
A star studded movie based on the best selling pregnancy bible called ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ is due to come out next year.
The story line is about six different couples who are each preparing to welcome a child. The movie follows them up to the delivery of their babies.

Actors and Actress’ with roles in the film include Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Isla Fisher and Elizabeth Banks. Hip hop Star J-LO will also appear.

Popstar, Cheryl Cole, who has had a bit of a downer in her career lately is said to be in “advanced talks” to be a character in this film too. It is possible she may be taking the role of a talent show judge who assesses Diaz’s character.  A source has said “This is a bit of fun for Cheryl. She will film the scenes imminently and is really looking forward to it,”
So does this mean Cheryl has turned to acting? Maybe not as the source carries on to explain “It doesn’t mean she suddenly wants to become an actress. It was just an opportunity that has come up while she has been having some downtime and she thought it would be great fun to take part.”

‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ is  due to be released on May 11, 2012.
