Doctor is rushed to Hospital
Matt Smith who plays the current and 6th Doctor Who, was rushed to hospital at the beginning of the week after he tripped over in his flat and spilt his head open. He was celebrating with his co-stars as they had just finished filming the 2nd part of Doctor Who’s current series when he had the fall.
A source has said “Matt tripped over in his flat and sustained a minor head cut. He went to A&E as a precaution. He is very, very clumsy so nobody will be surprised.”
They added “It looked really painful but Matt didn’t seem to care. Luckily they had just finished shooting scenes – if not his bosses would have been fuming because it didn’t look too pretty.”
The timelord actor has previous spoke about how clumsy he is saying how he has broken bits of props and having a light fall on his head while resting on it!
X-Factor twins Jedward will be representing Ireland in this year’s Eurovision song content and this week they revealed if they win they are going to treat their fans to ‘cake and pizza’.
John explained: “We’ll be happy with whatever happens, but if we win, we’ll party for a year and treat our fans to cake and pizza.” He also showed how confident they are by saying “We’re not scared of anyone. We’re just going to go and do our own thing.”
Edward added “We’re more excited than scared. Think about it: millions of people across Europe will see what we do and hopefully we’ll get loads of new fans.”
Eurovision takes place on May the 14th and representing the UK is boyband Blue so good luck to them!
Kylie Minogue Musical
It has previously been revealed that there will soon be a Kylie Minogue musical and it has recently been said that it should be ready for next year. The stage production based on her music and career, will be the next thing on Kylie’s and her creative collaborator and stylist William Baker’s list.
William has said “We’re both working on the Kylie musical, using all her songs, which will hopefully be done next year some time. I can’t wait!”
Kylie has previously admitted she is terrified of theatre critics’ response to her planned stage show, which she hopes will open in London’s West End.
She said: “It’s definitely happening. We’ve brought a scriptwriter in and are working on a few synopses. And the critics … music critics are one thing but theatre critics are something else. I suppose if it doesn’t work then that’s it – it’s a closed book.
Mariah Carey and Husband Nick Cannon became parents to twins this week have have named them already. They have named their son Moroccan Scott Cannon, and his nickname is to be ‘Roc’. Scott is Nick’s middle name and it is also his grandmother’s maiden name.
The reason they chose the name ‘Moroccan’, is because the top tier of Mariah Carey’s New York apartment is called the ‘Moroccan room’ because of it’s Moroccan-inspired theme. It is also where Nick proposed to Mariah in 2007.
The couple have named their daughter Monroe after screen legend Marilyn Monroe who Mariah has always admired.

Blue Peter is one of the most popular children’s TV programmes and one of the things that make it so good is the animals they have on the show. But sadly one their dogs called Mabel, who has been on the show for 14 years, passed away this week.
The Border collie cross was the programme’s first rescue dog and she was the second longest serving dog on Blue Peter. She originally featured on the programme when then presenter Katy Hill was making a film about the RSPCA in 1996 she then joined the team a month later. Mabel’s name came from the letters MAB1 which were written on her RSPCA kennel.
Mabel starred alongside 14 different presenters including current presenter Helen Skelton who has said “I’m proud to have worked alongside such an iconic Blue Peter dog. She was dearly loved and that’s a credit to her quirky character. She’ll be sorely missed by the presenters and viewers alike.”
Rihanna reportedly went on a date with Usher this week.
There has been talk that there might be a little romance going on between two of the most popular people in music at the moment.
Rihanna and Usher spent some time together at the Coachelle music festival in LA and then saw each other in New York shortly after.
A source close to Usher has said “They had a really good time together last weekend and wanted to see each other again somewhere private straight after. They’ve known each other for a long time but it’s always been bad timing. They’ve had a few long, passionate kisses. There’s definitely a spark between them. It would have been too obvious to go somewhere in LA and they were both going back to New York for work commitments.”
Usher has said in the past that he would like to work with Riannah by saying “Of course I’d do a track with her – hold on! We’ve been friends and our teams work together and we’ve talked about working together in the past, but it could potentially happen.
“I would love to work with her – I think she’s an incredible artist.’
