T.A.T.U
This week it has been said that Russian Pop Duo, T.A.T.U are going to release a remixed hits album after which they will be splitting up.
Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova, who are most famous for their songs All The Things She said and Not Guna Get Us, took a break in 2009 to concentrate on solo their careers.
But recently Katina has said, “We’ve been doing our own thing for over two years now, and it was a logical conclusion. It’s time to move forward.
“People will remember us for great songs, being free, taking life as it is and not being afraid of anything.”
“Maybe in 10 years, we’ll say, ‘Hey, let’s do something together.”
Beckham and Bieber
It was perfect weather this week to do a bit of sunbathing and one famous face, has certainly been doing that but with an unlikely companion. Ex- Spice girl Victoria Beckham posted a picture on Twitter of her husband David Beckham sitting in the sun with a cardboard cut out of Justin Bieber. She also wrote “OMG A visitor just arrived Guess who???? And now he is sunbathing… He took my sunbed,”.
The photo follows news that the couple’s son, Romeo is a big fan of the 17-year-old singer and has asked his parents to name his unborn baby sister, Justine Bieber Beckham.
And Bieber seems to be a fan of the Beckham’s too as last summer Bieber offered to perform a private concert for Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz in exchange for private football lessons from David.
Rooney looses more than just his cool
Wayne Rooney has been punished in a couple of ways for his swearing outburst he had on the football pitch, this week, after completing a hat-trick.
He looked straight at the camera and said some not very nice words. For this not only will does he have a two match ban but also he has lost his sponsorship contract with Coca-Cola. The deal was worth £600,000 a year but bosses at the drinks giant have reportedly been left unimpressed by a string of scandals involving the footballer player.
A spokesperson for Coca-Cola has said: “We mutually agreed that we would not renew our relationship. We wish Wayne well in his career.”
New Film
Comedian Adam Sandler is making a new comedy called I Hate You Dad and has asked rapper Vanilla Ice to play a part.
Sandler will play a father who moves in with his son and his fiancee, only to become the enemy of his future daughter-in-law and Vanilla Ice will play an old friend of Sandler’s Character.
Vanilla Ice made his film debut in 1991 in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and has recently starred on dancing on Ice- this man seems to have so many talents!
Other actors to appear in Sandlers new film which is due to release in June 2010 are Andy Samburg, Leighton Meester and James Caan.
The directors will be Sean Anders and John Morris and Sandler himself will co-produce the comedy with his Happy Maddison production company.
Take me Out
JLS member Aston Merrygold has announced that he wants to appear on ITV1’s programme ‘Take Me Out’!
Take me Out is presented by Paddy McGuiness and aims to match make a couple together. 30 women compete to win a date with an eligible bachelor, who shows off a range of skills and attributes to impress the group. However, if the women dislike the guy, they turn off their light, with him eventually choosing between the remaining potential dates.
Aston has been single since splitting up with his girlfriend Natalie Rush two years ago. He has said “I suppose I’m going to have to go on ‘Take Me Out’ to find someone. I think I’d be a bit self-conscious going on the show, but I’d definitely try it. I’ve got nothing to lose.”
He added “I was talking about it the other day with my mum.She said she wouldn’t want me on the show as she’s scared I’d get all my lights turned off.
“It would be embarrassing.”
