Shadow chancellor Ed Balls visited Brentwood on Thursday in advance of the local elections and AV referendum on 5 May.
Phoenix FM’s Alex Fletcher spoke to Mr Balls as they walked back to the studio from the Town Hall. Afterwards Mr Balls spoke to families who visited the Phoenix studios.
