We were very lucky to get TV legend PETER PURVES into the Phoenix FM studio this weekend. Peter was visiting our next door neighbour, The Essex Dog Training Centre, to present some awards to some outstanding children and dog handlers.
Best known for his stint on Blue Peter from 1967 to 1978, Peter has also been the voice of Crufts for more than four decades, and has had a long relationship with Dr Who too. We chatted about all of those things … and you can hear the interview by clicking the player above.
