I was only thirteen in 1985

Well today saw me go back to the eighties. 85 was the year so thought I’d have a good look round for what I could play. I had to start with something a bit slower today. Foreigner I want to know what love is followed by Jennifer Rush and her version of the power of love. Also a timeless classic from Mr Mister, Broken wings. Another track played not very often but when it does it gets you thinking. I even managed a double by Tears for fears because I couldn’t make my mind up which one to play, so we had both Everybody wants to rule the world and Shout. The cheese side come from Sister Sledge’s Frankie. I couldn’t find Joe Dolche – Shut uppa your face so had to go without.

I also had a good old classic that I hadn’t heard for a while, Murray Head and One night in Bankok. See now wasn’t the 80’s so good!!!! Of course my day wouldn’t be complete without some good old rock. This today come from Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Bonnie Tyler & Simple Minds.

Next week I’m going to bring us up to the noughties. Somehting from the early 2000’s.
