Tonight it was a pleasure to welcome the Dirty Royals into the studio. You may recognise Simon, Matt and Jimmy from their days in the Samurai Seven, quite simply the best band ever to come out of Oxford, no contest – until they rebranded themselves, of course! With Los Angeles-based drummer Keith on board, the band made their live debut in late 2005 and have impressed with their mix of quirky indie and classic Americana ever since.
