With the announcement this week that ex Spice Girl Mel B will be hosting the UK version of the popular US comedy show Lip Sync Battle, tonight’s show played some tracks which celebs have mimed to on the show.
Lips Sync Battle is hosted by LL Cool J and derived from a section on US chat show Tonight With Jimmy Fallon. The idea is that two celebrities mime and perform aka dance/walk about the stage/put some emotion into a chosen song in front of a live audience. In the second round they get to add costume and stage design too. The audience then get to choose who wins by cheering for who they want to be the champion, the celeb with the loudest cheer is the winner.
