Once again our Nick Field finds his namesake in the Faraway Forest!

Nick (not our Nick) was here with his one to one performance, “Be My Friend”, which explores the negotiations and complications of friendship in a world of fractured selves.

Nick would like to be friends – would you? Festivalgoers could choose something at the festival to see together, and also Nick’s outfit for the occasion. It’s a shared experience, an exchange of stories, a moment that makes or breaks; a bargaining with ever-changing rules. Nick aims to discover why we pick the friends we do, and maybe make new ones.
