Latitude Festival 2015: Vessels

Click below to listen to the interview again:

After four years of incremental musical evolution, Vessels emerged in March with a brave and brilliant new sound on their new album “Dilate”. Masterfully fusing the widescreen builds and elegant breakdowns of their previous work with altogether more physical electronic rhythms, it sees the band firmly focused on the euphoria of the dancefloor.

Even more remarkably, every bit of it is played live. Subsequently, recent performances have seen the quartet maintain the crystalline melodies and crushing dynamics of their previous life as a rock band with two drummers front and centre and the band and audience feeding off each other’s energy.

Vessels

Nick Field caught up with singer/keyboardist Tom Evans and drummer Tim Mitchell to talk about the band about their history and recent performances.
