First up tonight I was joined in the studio by locals The MBG (l-r Joe, Laura, Lewis, Ben). Since their first visit to the studio a year ago, they’ve grown two new members, played all over Essex and London (you may have spotted them at Lighting Up Brentwood just before Christmas) and have just released their first EP Everywhere We Sit is VIP. The foursome have another busy few weeks ahead – they can next be seen live at a headline show at the Railway Hotel, Southend, on April 24th. They can be found online on Facebook and you can download the EP from Bandcamp.

Next up I was joined by Young & The Blue from London (l-r Jack, Lewis, Adam, DJ, Dan). They first joined us back in 2013 when called The Seagulls, but since relaunching last year they’ve been busy gigging and have just released a new EP entitled Change Your Mind, from which we heard a sample via a studio session. They can next be seen live at Colchester’s Swinburne Hall on April 24th and you can find them online at www.youngandtheblue.com.
