It’s hard to believe the nerve of some people but astonishingly a Russian burglar actually persuaded one of his victims that he was a ghost and that the man should go back to sleep! He did, only to wake in the morning and discover that the “ghost” had spirited away his wallet, watch and mobile phone. Fortunately for him the miscreant couldn’t wait to dispose of the mobile phone and so was quickly apprehended by the police and identified as a repeat offender. His victim was able to quickly identify him as the spectre who had appeared to him the night before.
