Jodie’s Tranformation
Brentwood girl Jodie Marsh may be best known for her glamour model days however she has appeared on TV and in papers recently and her body looks very different!
Jodie has decided to become a body builder which means she has much bigger muscles than before and though most people may feel a bit manly if they had big muscles Jodie has said she feels ‘sexier than ever’.
Jodie has worked very hard to get the body she has with a tough work out regime consisting of three hours of cardio, two hours of weights, one hour of abs a day and hour of posing and routine work for her body building contest.
She also had a strict diet as she explains saying “Bodybuilders prepare for a contest by going on protein-only diets and eating chicken and fish.But I’m a vegetarian so all I could have was egg whites and protein shakes”.
She took part in the body building contest last month and came 5th and has gone from size 12 to size six, and from nine-and-a-half stone to eight stone.
Her body transformation will be available for to watch in January as is has been filmed for a programme called Jodie Marsh: Bodybuilder. However Jodie explains she didn’t do it just for the show saying ‘The whole thing was for a television show but I wanted to do this anyway. My trainer Tim Sharp approached me 3 years ago and said that he could get me fit.
‘I’ve been bodybuilding for three years but I was given 8 weeks to get into shape for the competition. So I had to lose a stone of fat and get ripped for this competition.’
The programme will also show that she had no assistance from drugs and that she had to be polygraph tested before her contest.
Shrek The Musical
Actress and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden performed her last role as Princess Fiona in Shrek the musical last week.
She has been playing the character since May but is leaving the show because of her pregnancy. Amanda was very emotional as she tweeted “Putting Fiona make up on for last time! In pretty empty dressing room! Its like the end of a movie and hopefully I’ll get a Happily Ever After” she then added later “OMG! Am just about holding it together! Very on the edge!”
Girls Aloud member Kimberly Walsh will be taking over the role in the West End play, two months earlier than planned but next month Amanda plans to go and watch the show for herself.
Shrek the Musical is currently being performed at the Theatre Royal in London.
Granny Perry
Katy Perry has worn many different extra ordinary outfits in her music videos and now recent pictures have shown her dressed in a grey wig, long sleeve dress and prosthetic face wrinkles. They have been put up on a Katy Perry fan site and they suggest that a Granny is the next character she will be play in her next music video.
The next, and 6th single from her Teenage Dream Album will be ‘The One That Got away’and shje has recently described the song as showing ‘a completly different side’ to her.
The artwork for the single has been reviled and it is of Katy, from her shoulders up, with purple hair and a disc-shaped hat.
All five singles, which have already been released from Teenage Dreams, have hit the top of the charts and IF this single tops the chart she will be the first artist in history to have six number one singles from one album, beating Michael Jackson who had 5 number ones from his album entitled ‘Bad’.
Gaga Film
Lady Gaga has said in the past that one day she would like to be a movie star and she has put her foot on that path by revealing there will be a new film about her life to be in production soon. Gaga will not actully star in the film herself but film makers are looking for someone to play her already.
The description of the character is ‘a bright rebellious Catholic school girl who dreams of fame. The story covers her life from 16 to 22 years, so we want to find an actress who can embody the star during this period of age. It is desirable that this actress knows sing, but that talent is not required.’
Talikng about Gaga’s love for film a source has said “‘GaGa loves films and this is the next step for her. Stacks of offers have come in and she hasn’t had time to take a look until now. It’s really important her first film is good as it will set the benchmark for future work.”
The film will be called “Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story,” and it hasn’t been stated that it will be in cinemas but it will be shown on an American channel called Lifetime.
Michael Forever
Tonight over 40,000 people will be going to the Millennuim Staduim in Cardiff to see Michael Jackson’s tribute concert called ‘Michael Forever- The Tribute Concert’
Many different stars will be performingat this spical event such as Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, JLS, Cee Lo Green, Craig David, Ne-Yo, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, Diversity and Tito Jackson’s three sons, 3T, will also play. Michael’s sister La Toya will also perform however brothers Tito, Marol and Jackie will not be there as they would have been attending the trail of Michael’s Doctor Conrad Murry.
It will be hosted by Fern Cotton and Jamie Foxx and one person who is very excited to be attending is the head of Global Live Events, Chris Hunt, he has said ‘I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists.
“The event is really getting into gear and is going to be a fantastic evening for all.”
Michael Forever- The Tribute Concert will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Jackson’s solo career.
