A beauty salon offering makeovers and facials for girls as young as one year old has sparked outrage.

Campaigners say the salon in Brentwood – which only caters for under 13s – sexualises children.

It was opened by Mick Norcross – who features in the hit show The Only Way Is Essex at the weekend.

It was first reported in the Brentwood Gazette on Wednesday with the headline ‘TODDLERS CAN GET FAKE TANS AT NEW SALON’ and has since become a national talking point. She made the statement “I will do spray tans if parents want them” at the opening and I wanted to know whether she still stands by this comment.
