National Apprenticeship Week Pop-Up Shop 2019

Have you ever considered an apprenticeship but aren’t sure where to start? Are you concerned about your age or worried about your pay?

In association with Havering College, Inside Digital, Phoenix FM and other local sponsors, the Centre for Apprenticeships is setting up a Pop-Up Shop in Brentwood High Street for the entire National Apprenticeship Week (NAW19), 4-9 March.

The shop will host large and small businesses, training providers, and current apprentices. Workshop sessions and business networking events will take place every evening from some of Brentwood’s top networking groups.

A wide range of resources and people will be available to help would-be apprentices get started and receive support throughout their apprenticeship journey.

The Centre for Apprenticeships has over 10,000 live listings on its website offering plenty of expertise and knowledge to walk you through the process from beginning to end.

There will be planned talks from industry experts from the NHS, Havering College, and apprenticeship ambassadors. A huge range of sectors that will be hunting for keen minds and potential apprentices.

Would-be apprentices will also have a chance to learn how to create the perfect CV to sell themselves and their skills and experience – and even an opportunity to get a professional headshot photo taken for your LinkedIn profile!

The Centre is looking for employers and training providers to get involved, too. Speakers will be present to talk about the positive impact apprentices have had in their workplace, how to integrate them into your business, how to compliment your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to include apprentices, understanding the apprenticeship levy, and much more.
