Brit’s Break
Britney Spears has had quite an eventful life but managed to kick start her music career again recently and has had many successful songs and a 79 date tour, so she must have been working hard,  maybe she deserves a break? Funny enough, that’s exactly what she is doing in the new year! The vice president of Britney’s record label has said “She’s going to take a little time off. (But) we’re working on a Christina Aguilera release for later on this year, we’re working on a new Usher project for later on this year, Pink is about to go back in the studio. We’re excited about that.”

Baby Bump
Brentwood girl and Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton has been showing off her baby bump this week at the launch of her new fake eyelash range. She is 3 months into her pregnancy and she has spoke about putting on weight by saying “I don’t care how fat I get. I’ll get as fat as a house as long as everything’s OK.
‘I’m not worrying about losing the weight afterwards. I’ll just do it gradually. I’m in no rush to snap back into shape. I’m not putting any pressure on myself. And Alex will help me.”

Tulisa’s in Demand!
If your an X Factor fan you would have seen that winners Little Mix got quite close to their mentor Tulisa. On the final week they performed a duet together of  a melody Alicia Key’s songs and there has been talks that it may appear on Tulisa’s debut solo album. Tulisa has said “There’s been talks, but I’m not 100%. I would love to do this… when I release my album we might re-record [the Alicia Keys mash-up] as a single and put it on my album, so we’ll see how it goes.”
She also talked about why she thought Little Mix won the show saying  “I think the girls won because they deserved it, because they’re talented and beautiful and they’re genuine, honest people.”
“I love them and the UK loves them and I’m over the moon. I can’t express it, I’m just feeling ecstatic right now.”

But Little Mix arent the only ones who want to duet with Tulisa, Essex singer Jessie J has also said she wants her on her album, she explained I’d love to do a track with Tulisa. We’ve talked about writing a song like Do It Like A Dude together. A big girl power anthem because we are both feminists.”
She added: “We just get on really well and have such a laugh,”
Jessie appeared on the X Factor when the contestants when to the judges houses with Tulisa.
They both have good voices so a duet could be very successful.

And In The Mix also started getting ready for next week and Christmas by talking some festive gossip!…

Little Mix Number 1?
Christmas number one is a big deal for most singing stars and until last year it was tradition that the X Factor winner got to number one.
Well once again this year there may be some competiton.
Others who are aiming to get to number one are the TOWIE cast, Joe Mcelderry, The Military Wives, Michael Buble and Justin Bieber who has TWO songs out, ‘Mistletoe’ and his duet with Mariah Carey, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.

So we will have to see who gets the top spot next week!
