New loan signings – for Aveley (Images: Kevin Lamb)

Before Aveley’s 2-0 defeat to Bromley in the fifth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy yesterday, they confirmed the loan signings of Ryan Carr, Ayyuba Jambang and Frankie Terry.

The new arrivals all featured in yesterday’s loss as the Millers were knocked out after two second-half goals from Michael Cheek and Louis Dennis.

Carr joins from Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich Town and the 19-year-old was previously at Carlisle United where he made his first-team debut in September.

Jambang, also coming in from Ipswich, was without a club in the summer following his departure from Reading and the 19-year-old had made 19 appearances in the U18 Premier League for the Tractor Boys this season.

Colchester United’s Terry has arrived at Parkside having previously been on loan at fellow Essex sides Maldon & Tiptree and Chelmsford City. His U’s debut came in their 2-1 victory over Cambridge United in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in October.

Aveley, currently sitting in tenth place in the Vanarama National League South, visit Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday.
