Maldon & Tiptree’s Terrell Egbri has moved to Lithuania to sign for I Lyga side FK Babrungas Plunge who ply their trade in the second tier.

The 22-year-old arrived at Park Drive ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and made 17 appearances as the Jammers finished in 15th place in the Isthmian North Division.

So far this term, Egbri has featured on 23 occasions which included him scoring in their 3-2 victory over Bowers & Pitsea in November.

Before his spell at Maldon, the winger started his career at Southend United and went on to make 41 appearances at Roots Hall before being released at the end of the 21/22 season. Moves to Bishop’s Stortford and Harlow Town followed where he had to depart the latter due to Harlow having to pull out of the Southern League Division One Central Division.

FK Babrungas were promoted to the second tier of Lithuian football in the 19/20 season and currently sit in fifth place.
