One 2 Three Friday 13.10.23 with Pastor Lee Carmichael

P H O E N I X   P L A Y E R
with Pastor Lee Carmichael
One 2 Three
Patrick Sherring

Pastor Lee talked the 90th anniversary of the founding of an Elim church in Ingatestone in the Drill Hall in October 1933. A nucleus of believers came together to form a church. After a tent mission, a building project was completed in 1934 when the Elim Tabernacle opened. Today the church has a modern building following major renovations about five years ago. Lee said if anyone comes along to the church on Sunday they will find a lively service within the Elim tradition of gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, he spoke that the church was not just about Sunday mornings. He said, “you can not really get to know people in an hour on a Sunday morning”. He listed a wide range of activities. This included the Hope Café that meets on every Fridays 9.30 – 3pm. They also run a “no questions asked” foodbank for those struggling at this time.  More information can be found at
