Reflecting on the Lionesses incredible performance both on and off the pitch during the European Championships I caught up with Co-chair of West Ham’s Pride Of Irons, women’s officer for pride in football, passionate football fan, podcast host and fellow Phoenix FM presenter Jo Bailey. As well as a first-hand account of the awesome scenes that unfolded at Wembley last Sunday, Jo talked about how we can build on the momentum of the tournament to enhance the future of women’s football, what can be done to improve access for young girls at school and club level and how a one club mentality is the way foreword.
