Ahead of Wednesday’s Drive I caught up with now London based singer songwriter Alice Merton. Alice’s breakthrough single “No Roots” was an instant anthem for anyone with experience of relocating their lives so it was great to chat to her about her feelings looking back on a childhood of living in different countries. We covered all sorts of other stuff too from her fantastic new album S.I.D.E.S and touring with Bastille to how making music helps her process emotions and come through the “other side” – plus that time she rocked the mic so hard it broke!
