On Thursday’s Drive I caught up with local poet Roger Hornett for a chat about his debut poetry collection “The Covid Verses“. Inspired by the events of the pandemic and written from the perspective of a fictional epidemiologist these poems superbly capture a moment in our history whilst questioning the narrative of national media coverage.
