Ahead of Tuesday’s Drive I caught up with 1/4 of The Overtones and fellow Essex man Darren Everest. We talked about their new album 10 celebrating 10 years since their debut single and the story so far from being discovered on a decorating job to singing (and dancing with) The Queen, Stevie Wonder and Tom Hanks! We also covered Darren’s early footballing days and I briefly joined the band for a whistle-along edition of their latest single Rose Tinted!
