The Chelmsford City Chamber has just had its first meeting and Sally Sykes talks about the great reaction they received …
Wow!! We’re going to need a bigger boat…
What a fabulous morning I had hosting the first virtual meeting for the newly formed Chelmsford City Chamber.
Our breakfast meeting was over-subscribed, vibrant, and full of energy. I won’t lie, I have never presented to c.100 people before, so was a little nervous at 7.59am this morning.
After communicating our vision & founding principles, our committee members kindly facilitated breakout rooms to understand what a shiny new Chamber should look like. It was great to hear many of our initial thoughts were on the right track, but just as importantly, being open to new initiatives from prospective members. A principle which sits at the heart of CCC. The group will be collectively successful when we collaborate and listen.
We have an official launch pencilled in for April, and will be running weekly pilot events.
While our website is under construction, please encourage your network to follow our social pages for news & updates. We will soon be posting membership details, until then, bear with us, we’re working flat out to get all the logistics in place.
Thanks again for joining, I look forward to welcoming you to the next event on Wednesday 17th February at 12:30pm.
