Did you hear the story of the lady who got stuck in a bath?

Now you really do have to feel sorry for this woman.

Yes somehow she managed to get totally wedged in her bath – and was stuck there for over a week.

It’s unclear just how the woman became wedged in the first place but mercifully she was finally rescued after an agent from WILTSHIRE FARM FOODS, became concerned that they could not raise her, police broke in to find the lady firmly wedged – and hungry.

After finally releasing her from her watery prison, the lady was taken to hospital for a thorough check up – and something to eat.

I imagine she must have emerged looking like a prune!

In the second hour of today’s show, Margaret Mills took us back to a very cold and snowy Billericay in 1776.

Listen again here to what Margaret told me about this event: –

Let’s hope it was a “one-off” and that we don’t see a repeat this winter!

See you again next week,

Scott
