The Rucksack Project 2019 Launch with Brian McGovern of Cool To Be Kind

I was joined in the studio by Brian McGovern to launch this year’s Rucksack Project on behalf of Cool To Be Kind.

Cool To Be Kind are a Chelmsford based community project that supports rough sleepers in and around Essex. The Rucksack Project is an initiative to collect and distribute essential items to rough sleepers in order to make the winter months a little more comfortable for homeless people.

You can listen again to all the details below

To find out more about Cool To Be Kind and The Rucksack Project go to www.c2bk.co.uk

Below is a list of suggested contents for each rucksack. Rucksacks can be dropped off at the United Brethren Public House in New Writtle Street, Chelmsford or alternatively if people are unable to get there then contact Cool To Be Kind via their Facebook page or on their Contact Us form on their website (www.c2bk.co.uk) to make alternative arrangements. There is no specific deadline for donations as these items and your support is needed throughout the year. However, donations before/during the winter months are particularly essential given the cold weather conditions. Thank you for your help.

You can now enjoy some of the highlights from Stewart’s radio shows by downloading his podcast “Stewart Pink on Phoenix FM”, catch up on full interviews with his guests on Phoenix FM through the “Now You’re Talking” podcast and get your weekly dose of rock music with The As Yet Untitled Rock Show podcast – all are freely available wherever you get your podcasts from.
