Standon Calling 2019: Laurel

Click below to listen to the interview:

Prior to her Standon Calling debut, Steve Robertson had the chance to chat to Hampshire singer/songwriter/producer Laurel. The 25 year old spoke about how much she was looking forward to playing on the Laundry Meadows stage.

As Laurel records her music at home, playing all the instruments and producing the majority of material herself, it was interesting to hear how this method then translates to performing on stage with no band or backing singers.

I then caught her set, which did not disappoint the large audience watching (in spite of the rain).
