Britain’s Most Popular Christmas Film

In a recent survey by Radio Times around 7,000 people were asked to choose their favourite Christmas film of all time.

There are so many to choose from that I think I would be hard pressed to choose the top one.

The popular vote went to Frank Capra’s 1946 classic It’s A Wonderful Life, starring James Stewart.

Other favourites in the top five include Elf, Love Actually, The Muppet Christmas Carol and Home Alone.

It’s a Wonderful Life was nominated for five Oscars including Best Picture.
