After a long break due to an amazing holiday in Japan (the details of which I won’t bore you with now – just look on my Instagram!) I was back in the Phoenix studio last week. Slightly worried I wouldn’t remember which buttons to press, I compensated with some amazing music and a familiar face – Sibel Beadle – local children’s author, creator of the Witchy Travel Tales series. She was here to talk about her fourth book – Nessie’s husband – all about a magical voyage to Loch Lomond in Scotland.
As well as painting a beautiful picture of the idyllic Scottish scenery the book also deals with some really important themes – bullying, fatherhood, feeling different. Sibel read an extract live on air and if you’d like to listen back to the whole chat, then that’s below:
