Oh my God I’m back again!

After a long break due to an amazing holiday in Japan (the details of which I won’t bore you with now – just look on my Instagram!) I was back in the Phoenix studio last week. Slightly worried I wouldn’t remember which buttons to press, I compensated with some amazing music and a familiar face – Sibel Beadle – local children’s author, creator of the Witchy Travel Tales series. She was here to talk about her fourth book – Nessie’s husband – all about a magical voyage to Loch Lomond in Scotland.

As well as painting a beautiful picture of the idyllic Scottish scenery the book also deals with some really important themes – bullying, fatherhood, feeling different. Sibel read an extract live on air and if you’d like to listen back to the whole chat, then that’s below:

Sibel’s book is available on amazon and Waterstones online and you can keep up to date with her travels at her own website.

The playlist this week was really strong too (just see for yourself below) and if you’d like to hear all this music, plus the whole two hours of my dulcet towns, then you want this link here:

Michael Buble – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Janet Jackson – Rhythm Nation
Fleur East – Sax
John Lennon – Jealous Guy
benny blanco & Calvin Harris – I Found You
Zoe – Sunshine on a rainy day
Mariah Carey – Heartbreaker (feat. Jay Z)
Take That – Never Forget (Odyssey Mix)
Fleetwood Mac – Go your own way
Rihanna – Only Girl
Lion Rock – Rude Boy Rock
Queen – Radio Ga Ga
Brenda Lee – Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
Mark Ronson – Nothing breaks like a heart (with Miley Cyrus)
George Ezra – Hold my girl
Divine Comedy – National Express
All Saints – Never Ever
Robbie Williams – Feel
Adam and the Ants – Stand and deliver
