I spoke to Earl Okin, fresh from his opening set on the Laundry Meadows stage on Thursday evening.
Earl is a singer-songwriter who is as much at home at Standon Calling as he it it Ronnie Scott’s and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He describes himself as a triple threat, as a fine jazz singer and musical comedian.
Now aged 71 and the oldest act at Standon this weekend, we could have spoken for much longer about Earl’s varied career which includes working with Paul McCartney.
You can find out more about him at http://www.earlokin.net
