Oddswatch: Billericay Town now clear favourites for National League South

Billericay are now clear favourites to win the National League South at the first time of asking, according to national bookmaker BetVictor.

The Blues, who won the Bostik Premier at the end of last season, have strengthened their squad over the last few weeks, bringing in a number of players including Adam Coombes, Jake Howells, Callum Kennedy and Moses Emmanuel.

Good wins against Aveley and Maidstone United and an 8-0 thrashing of St James’s Swifts have sent a strong message to the rest of the division and punters are following their instincts and backing the blues, who are now offered at 3/1 compared to 10/1 four weeks ago.

Billericay’s next friendly is away at Beaconsfield on Saturday, before their first home friendly of the current pre-season against a West Ham XI on Tuesday 31 July.
