On the first Feelgood Saturday of 2018 we thought we’d delve into the murky world of finance. This time of year we’re often thinking about how we can be better with money – because of a New Year’s resolution we’ve made or due to Christmas over-indulgence.
My guest today was on hand to help us through it. James Blower, founder of the Brentwood-based financial consultancy – The Savings Guru – was full of tips for getting your money in order, the best ways to save and even helped us understand what on earth a bitcoin is. You can hear the interview with James below and to find out more about the Savings Guru, visit their website here – where you’ll also find advice and a way to ask them any other questions you might have. You can also follow them on twitter.

Elsewhere in the show, we looked forward to some very significant events and anniversaries in 2018, checked in on events in the local area and got a bit of an eyeful in the entertainment news…
