Gary is about to release his 21st album, Savage (Songs From A Broken World), and is embarking on a mini-tour of festivals before a more major jaunt in the autumn around the UK and North America.

We spoke to Gary just before his Main Stage performance today. Gary explained why he chose a dystopian theme for his new record – and which real world event was the inspiration behind it.
