Latitude 2017: Science In A Van with Dr James Kilner

Click here to listen to the interview again:

Scientific research is in the middle of a so-called “replication crisis”. Scientists have found that the results of many experiments are difficult or impossible to replicate on subsequent investigation.

Dr James Kilner from Science In The Van

The replication of results from previous studies is central to the scientific process. The aim of the Science in the Van is to take experimental science on the road and run previously published experiments to test how reproducible they are. In Science in the Van at Latitude we will be asking you to volunteer in different experiments that enable us to study how aware people are of what’s going on inside their bodies.

Dr James Kilner is a neuroscientist in the Institute of Neurology at UCL. He is interested in theoretical models linking perception and action.

I spoke to Dr James in the Faraway Forest and you can hear it again above!
