Join Andrew Linham and guests for a sublime afternoon of jazz standards and original material on Friday 28 April at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.

Andrew Linham is an award-winning saxophonist and composer and currently works with some of the top London musicians in a variety of different ensembles. From playing balkan space jazz on clarinet with MIMIKA to straight ahead swing on baritone with London City Big Band, Andrew is a busy working musician performing in many varied and exciting settings.

This time, the talented musician will be joined by Darren McCarthy (Double Bass), Rob Brockway (Piano) and Dan Paton (Drums). The dynamic ensemble continues to impress audiences with their collection of original compositions and hip-swinging jazz rhythms.

Since 2007 Andrew’s quartet have taken their melodies all across the country and in 2012 they released their critically acclaimed album Abandoned Silence.

Andrew has a long standing affinity with the Queen’s Theatre since his youth and continues to be actively involved in a wide variety of roles from Musical Director to Composer and Sound Designer. He is currently working on a new fast-paced adaptation of the family favourite The Wind in the Willows as the Composer. The show has been written especially to mark the 25th anniversary of the theatre’s youth company, QYouth. It runs at the theatre from 8-9 July.
