For the last weekend in July Phoenix FM attended the music festival in Hertfordshire, in its 11th year having a pirate theme with the title “Legend of the Lost Seas”.
Standon Calling has everything for the family, ensuring the family pet isn’t missed out. The dog show this year had categories including “Dog with the Waggiest Tail” and “Best Walk”. The proud winners and their owners had the chance to parade their rosettes on the Clocktower stage.
We caught a lot of the acts, playing across the various stages at the weekend.
Lea Lea

Rag ‘n’ Bone Man
From Sussex, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man played the main stage on Saturday afternoon. Progressing from a rapper to a prolific blues and soul singer, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man is making a name for himself as he steps out of the underground scene – more details are available at his official website. He proved his versatility on the main stage with a varied set to an audience of all ages. Following this, he spoke backstage to Steve Robertson.

Emma McGrath
At Just 16 years old, Emma McGrath has been writing and performing her own music, much of that music which she played on the Laundry Meadows stage on Sunday. Cuban Brothers
