This weekend on Between the Lines we had 5 league football matches to keep us occupied for the show.
The first game we looked at was between Hibernian and Dundee United in the Scottish FA Cup. The first of the weekend’s semi-finals going to extra-time and then penalties. In the end, the Edinburgh side won 4-2 on penalties.
In the Football League, we had updates from Bolton v Middlesbrough, which kicked off at 12:30 and finished with the away side winning 2-1.
In the Premier League, Aaron Heanue kept an eye on the match between Norwich and Sunderland, finishing with the away side winning 3-0. The two other fixtures were local derby matches, Chesterfield 0-3 Sheffield United and Mansfield 5-0 Notts County.
We looked at all other sport for the weekend, including qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix (with Lewis Hamilton at the back of the grid) and looked ahead to the World Snooker Championship.
