Thowback Saturday – The track of the week was ‘Dancing in the Street’ sang by David Bowie & Mick Jagger
This song was originally a hit for Martha & the Vandellas back in 1964. Bowie and Jagger also covered this for the Live Aid charity in 2007.

On this day in music history – 7/11/87 Bruce Springsteen got to No.1 with ‘Tunnel Of Love’
We celebrated the successful career of US rock star Bruce Springsteen and his hit song which in 1987 on this day (7 Nov) peaked at No.1 in the US album chart. A selection of tracks were played and this included the Tunnel of Love, Born in the USA, and High Hopes. The Tunnel Of Love was a song off Springsteen’s eighth studio album, which went triple platinum.
