A self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Cheshire, Adam French first caused a stir by touring Africa before he had even completed his debut UK tour.
Inspired by an enthusiasm for travel, he played shows across Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa and caught the eye of BBC Introducing, who featured Adam prominently on their website.
He went on to release last year’s “More To Life” EP, which has now had (at the time of writing) very nearly 140,000 Soundcloud plays to date.
We caught up with Adam before his appearance on the Alcove stage on Sunday morning.
