Basildon’s Stuart Bingham has been improving over the last few years, picking up tournament wins and reaching the top 10 of the world, but nothing beats being intorudced as the new World Snooker Champion!

Stuart’s win at the weekend saw him defeat five opponents, including three former world champions and a former world No 1. It also saw him rise to no 2 in the world and, more importantly, no 1 in Essex!

Paul spoke to Stuart about how he’s been enjoying the last 36 hours and about the journey that brought him to win the greatest prize in the sport.
