We also heard about the humourless individuals in Carmarthenshire who are giving a traffic warden a “dressing down” after he ticketed a wheelie bin. The penalty notice had been attached to the bin in a lighthearted moment after a member of the public had drawn the warden’s attention to the fact that the bin had been left on a double yellow line. It seems that some other sad person saw fit to report the incident to the council which is seemingly staffed by equally dour officials.
