We are always hearing about big multi-nationals managing to evade paying taxes, but you really do have to admire the ingenuity of this tax dodge being undertaken by an all woman Spanish theatre troupe. With the government raising the tax on theatre tickets from 8% to 21%, an all female theatre group has registered themselves as distributors of pornography. They then bought up copies of a discontinued erotic magazine which they sell at £12:50 a copy plus a free theatre ticket. The result was a full house on their opening night!

Now if you admire that then to really have to admire the gall of a 20-year old law student who seems to have hoodwinked authorities into
accepting him as being a member of various government departments. He even passed himself off as a secret service agent, an adviser to the deputy prime minister and managed to get an invitation to the coronation of the new Spanish king. He now faces possible prosecution but if I were them, I’d put him on the payroll in double quick time.
