On today’s show CARL MERRY related the ESSEX TALE of a long dead conman, Stephen Bunce and from rather more recent times we heard of two far less competent bank robbers on different sides of the world.

The hapless thief in the US, first dropped his loot on the floor of the bank and later slipped on the ice outside cracking his head open whilst trying to reach his getaway vehicle. Meanwhile his Chinese counterpart threatened a clerk, sitting behind a security barrier, with a meat cleaver – a security barrier he actually leaned against whilst taking a call on his phone!
We also found out why, if you are unfortunate enough to get stuck in a lift, it’s probably a good idea to ensure that it doesn’t happen in Cambridgeshire.
