On today’s show I was joined by WENDY MARCON from the ESSEX & HERTS AIR AMBULANCE TRUST. As the Trust Events Manager, Wendy is especially responsible for all the fundraising events, which are vitally important in generating that all important finance required to keep the air ambulance flying.
There is in fact a major activity coming to the BRENTWOOD CENTRE on the 7th March. The function is called STRICTLY AIR AMBULANCE and as the name suggests is based around TV’s STRICTLY COME DANCING. This show will feature celebrity pro-dancer, KEVIN CLIFTON who together with his partner, Karen Hauer, reached the final with Breakfast News Presenter, Susannah Reid. Six couples will be battling it out to try to impress the judges in an evening full of dance and entertainment. Tickets are available from the National Box Office on 0871 2241112 and £17 (£14 for concessions). All proceeds are, of course going to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance

In the second hour of the show we heard all about the woman who is actually paying to make herself more
stupid. In spite of having no job she has already invested £25,000 in her venture – so it seems to be clearly working!
