On today’s show we learnt about the Canadian Rock Band, SKINNY PUPPY, allegedly demanding £400,000 from the US military for unauthorised use of their “music” to torment suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay. Seemingly people pay good money to be voluntarily tormented by the sounds of their public performances and they don’t see why the inmates should be benefiting from their offerings for free.
I was especially pleased to have the chance of talking with Sean Needham, who is currently playing the lead role in Graham Greene’s comedy thiller, OUR MAN IN HAVANA at the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch. Listen to our conversation right here: – Our Man in Havana interview
In today’s ESSEX TALE, Carl Merry related the story of the Devil’s Dog, BLACK SHUCK – a creature you definitely would not want to meet on a dark night. If you missed the story, listen here: – Essex Tales 11th February
Right see you next week assuming we haven’t all dissolved or been washed away!
