On this weekend’s sport show, we had Lawrence Brown from the Leopards Basketball team joining us with Nigel Clarke and looking back over the season so far, along with looking forward to today’s home match against Bristol AC Flyers. This match tips off at 3pm.

We also kept an eye on the local fixtures in the Ryman League, at least the ones that survived the weather. Results as follows:-

Ryman League Premier Division
Bognor Regis Town 3 1 East Thurrock United
Bury Town 0 0 Thamesmead Town
Canvey Island 3 2 Wealdstone
Enfield Town 1 0 Cray Wanderers
Grays Athletic 0 1 Maidstone United
Hampton & Richmond 4 0 Carshalton Athletic
Harrow Borough 1 1 Lowestoft Town
Leiston 2 2 Lewes
Margate 2 3 Hendon
Metropolitan Police 2 1 AFC Hornchurch

Ryman League Division One North
AFC Sudbury 4 2 Barkingside
Burnham Ramblers 1 1 Dereham Town
Chatham Town 0 0 Needham Market
Erith & Belvedere 0 0 Wroxham
Harlow Town 5 1 Brentwood Town
Soham Town Rangers 4 1 Waltham Forest

We also kept up to date with the league fixtures, seeing Colchester and Leyton Orient both winning. Southend drawing away from home and Dagenham & Redbridge losing at home to Forest Green Rovers.

The big news in the Premier League was West Ham’s 2-0 win away to Cardiff, following their recent poor run of form.
