A victory for music and common sense! Brentwood’s newest festival, The Flag Factory Festival, will now be going ahead as planned on Saturday 14 September.
The festival faced being postponed after it a noise abatement notice had been served due to licensing regulations. However after a meeting with council members this morning, the festival has now been given the green light.
Organiser Olly Hookings – who is also lead singer with local band States of Emotion – came in to talk to Rob Jelly about what to expect at the weekend and you can listen again to the interview below:

If you’re coming along – you’re in for a feast of bands. The venue is the PLOUGH in Rayleigh Road, Hutton and doors open at 11am, with the timetable currently looking like this:
